Organic Microgreen and Mushroom Finishing Salt

We work with a local FDA certified kitchen to freeze dry our organic microgreens and combine them with freeze dried mushrooms sourced from a local farm and other ingredients to create this finishing salt. We start with a certified Pink Himalayan salt (and yes there is imitation pink Himalayan salt sold online, beware, its regular salt with pink dye, it's sad but true). The certified Pink Himalayan salt is ground to a powder alongside freeze dried organic broccoli, radish, pea and basil microgreens. we then add freeze dried oyster and shitake mushrooms to the mix. This makes for a tasty salt replacement with a healthy kick. 

Nutritional Highlights 

Broccoli Microgreens: Highest source of sulforaphane (powerful antioxidant), rich in Vitamins C, K, A, folate, fiber, and iron.

Pea Microgreens: Sweet, crunchy, packed with Vitamin C, fiber, iron, protein (including essential amino acids), calcium, magnesium, and B vitamins.

Oyster Mushroom: B Vitamins: They are particularly high in niacin (B3), riboflavin (B2), and pantothenic acid (B5). Minerals: They provide significant amounts of potassium and copper. They are a good source of fiber and protein compared to other vegetables. They also contain various antioxidants like ergothioneine.

Shiitake mushrooms B Vitamins: They contain a good range of B vitamins, including B6, niacin, and riboflavin. Notably, dried shiitake mushrooms are one of the few non-animal sources of vitamin B12. Minerals: They excel in their content of copper and selenium. Unique Compounds: They contain lentinan and eritadenine.
